Our history
If there were an alternative description for the "P" in our logo, it would probably be "P for personal". Because our story is a very personal story. It is about doing and having courage, about wanting to change and about trying to do things better yourself. Pantolinos was not born out of a business plan, but out of a conviction. This conviction continues to this day and allows us to change the small world around us. That is why things like a family-friendly work environment or independent work are not "new work attitudes" but existential pillars of our development.
The founder - Iris Mesenbrink
In 2002, Iris Mesenbrink began sewing crawling shoes while on parental leave, laying the foundation for the Pantolinos factory. The carefully selected materials for our products meet the highest standards of ecology and animal welfare. By living our values and the personal dedication of each individual to our quality, we not only create products that inspire, but also an attitude to life that convinces.
Our production facility is located in the beautiful Aller-Leine valley in Lower Saxony. This is where we make our shoes and all the other beautiful things that you can get from us. Handmade in Germany with the highest quality standards for your peace of mind

We are Pantolinos
Each and every one of us plays our part in ensuring that your dream shoe arrives lovingly packaged at your home. Our team is a diverse group of women, to which a few men have also joined over time. We all have our own story and our own life. That's why we work in a way that suits our lifestyle, family and career, and not the other way around. Despite different working hours, we can achieve great things as a team. Speaking of bigger, there are a few more of us than in the photo. Almost 50 employees work at Pantolinos, spread across two locations, and about half of them work from home.
