Vegetable tannins
Our leather is tanned without chrome, mainly with colors from renewable raw materials. This means that our leather differs in feel and appearance from conventional mass-produced leather. The colors can vary slightly from hide to hide, and the surface texture can vary greatly due to natural characteristics.
Because of its naturalness, the leather develops a natural patina when exposed to light and touch. When natural leather comes into direct contact with textiles or other materials, dyes can transfer from one material to the other (abrasion, discoloration).
Each leather hide is unique in its texture and color.
